What Is Obama-Care?

If you have been watching or reading the news lately, you’ve probably heard about Obama’s new plan on healthcare and everything that is covers. You’ve probably also heard about Obama-Care, but what exactly does that mean?
Some terms that are spoken in and around the white house can leave us all feeling a little bit confused. Obama-Care however, is not confusing. It’s a new term used by President Obama that shows that he does care about the American people and what is best for all of us.
Here are some more details on Obama-Care:
Obama-Care is what President Obama uses in referring to the Republican’s arrogant discharge of the Democratic health care reforms. While many are skeptical about Obama’s health care plans, he still continues to defend his new-found policy.
As long as the reform comes through without being completely dismissed by the Republican, Obama-Care could be noted in history as one of President Obama’s crowning achievements through his presidency.
With politics playing a huge role in society, there is no wonder that a huge debate would pop up in reference to everything the healthcare reform has to offer. Lately, Republicans have made attempts to shut down successful universal health care coverage plans in Massachusetts referred to as Romneycare or Obamaneycare.
However, one major health reform law that Republicans are trying to take down is the one that shows its full effect in 2014, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. This law will allow for so much more coverage and many people who have never been able to find health insurance coverage will finally be able to obtain it. Practically, tens of thousands of uninsured people will find coverage. It will also be extremely helpful in lowering high health care costs and insurance premiums.
Many people, including most Republicans, believe that President Obama is not thinking of the people. But Obama has issued “Obama-Care” to show that he does care and that it is the Republicans that do not.
While Republicans are fighting tooth and nail to destroy all of Obama’s efforts to make a positive impact in the world of health insurance, Obama is standing up strong to keep the Act in place.
Obama-Care should go through, as it will have a positive effect on so many people from teens, to pregnant women, to patients with long-term illnesses.
